SS 446 sheets and plates show low forming version of stainless steel. It is mainly preferred for marine and used cryogenic applications. These plates are manufactured using metals like molybdenum, chromium, and nickel. These sheets have extra importance due to their welding property. They have high strength and durability as compared to other stainless steel in the market. These sheets are non-heat treatable. It is most commonly used in the temperature between 1500- 2100 Fahrenheit. Its elevated is quite low.

Stainless Steel 446 strips contains a high level of chromium in its composition and therefore demonstrates high resistance to both corrosion and oxidation. SS 446 strips are high chromium ferritic heat resistant coils with excellent resistance to oxidation, sulfidation and other forms of hot corrosion.
