The SUS 304 Coil is known for its excellent oxidation resistance, with a maximum temperature of 870°C for intermittent use and 925°C for continuous use. However, it is not advisable to use it continuously at temperatures between 425°C and 820°C. The DIN 1.4301 Coil maintains its resistance to aqueous corrosion effectively. Proper care must be taken during the fabrication of UNS S30400 Coil to prevent cross-contamination from metals that are prone to corrosion, which could affect the appearance and durability of the finished product.

The ASTM A240 304 No.1 stainless steel coil is known for its ability to work harden easily. During fabrication, the cold working process may necessitate an intermediate annealing stage to reduce work hardening and prevent tearing or cracking. For hot working, the material should be uniformly heated to between 1149-1260 degrees Celsius.
