It is particularly effective in environments where intergranular corrosion and sensitization are concerns and performs well in low temperatures. Notably, UNS S32100 plates cannot be hardened through heat treatment but exhibit excellent weldability and can be easily processed with standard fabrication techniques.
The SUS 321 plate is a popular choice for various structural and machinery applications due to its strength and reliability. It is also widely used in general applications for its functional versatility.
