Utilizing our Duplex Steel round tubes in lighter gauges can achieve comparable design strength to thicker nickel alloys, resulting in significant weight savings and reduced production costs. Furthermore, our Super Duplex Steel square tubes exhibit high resistance to uniform organic corrosion, including formic and acetic acids, while the rectangular tubes provide robust protection against these corrosive substances.

Duplex Stainless Steel 2205 Tubes feature a combined microstructure of austenite and ferrite, ideally designed to achieve a 50/50 balance. However, in practical commercial alloys, this balance often varies, typically ranging from 40% austenite and 60% ferrite. Duplex steels offer enhanced strength compared to austenitic stainless steels, providing superior resistance to localized corrosion, including pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking.

Among the most commonly used duplex stainless steels are 2205, which contains 22% chromium and 5% nickel, and 2507, known for its exceptional corrosion resistance due to its higher chromium and nickel content.
